Joyous Flow
And Yoga Nidra for Health and Energy
This mantra~poem wrote itself in my mind’s inner ear today as I was in a deep state of relaxation during a Yoga Nidra session.
You may wish to try reading them aloud as a mantra of affirmations.
”Joyous Flow”
Joyous flow in my mind …
Joyous flow in my body …
Joyous flow in my heart …
Joyous flow in my spirit …
Joyous flow in my breath …
Joyous flow in my belly …
Joyous flow in my home …
Joyous flow in my dreamtime …
Joyous flow in my money …
Joyous flow in all my relations …
Joyous flow in all my expressions …
Joyous flow in my being …
Joyous flow in my life.

How does this recitation celebration make you feel?
What do these words of love, healing, and truth inspire within you?
May joyous flow be enhanced within you and all around you.…
Below is the yoga nidra that inspired this. As someone who has had CFS/ME (Chronic Fatigue Syndrome/Myalgic Encephalomyelitis) for two decades and an immune deficiency (fNKD, Functional Natural Killer Disease) since birth, I often need to nap, go slowly, pace myself, and listen to my body.
Over the past nine months, my physical condition had declined from mild CFS/ME, which meant a fairly normal-looking life from the outside yet with minor limitations, to moderate (housebound), and a couple of months of severe, bedbound. Fortunately, I am bouncing forward now, gracefully, gratefully.
While I have practiced movement-based hatha yoga and many forms of meditation for over forty years, I am so thankful to recently have discovered Yoga Nidra, an ancient form of Non-Sleep Deep Rest.
Often a 20-40-minute Yoga Nidra will feel even more refreshing and restorative than a 2-3 hour nap. I highly recommend it for everyone who needs more grounded embodiment, stress reduction, inner peace, improved vitality and energy.
Blessings and Blissings,
Sage

Yoga nidra has shifted my energy levels in ways I could have not imagined possible. I use it as a restart to my system whenever I feel overwhelmed or simply tired. It never fails.
